Team
Every plan · Time off on Professional and up
Your people,organised.
Bring people on, set who reports to whom and what each person may do, keep goals and what the team knows in one place — and, on Professional and up, approve time off knowing the work is covered.
- The lead tech asks for Wednesday off.
- The second tech is free that day and can cover.
- Approved, knowing the work is covered.
Every part
What is in it.
By the names the product gives them. Every plan unless a part says otherwise.
- 01
Members
Search everyone by name, email, role or department. Each row shows who is online, who has room for more work, and their hours and projects.
You see who can take on a job before you ask.
- 02
Onboarding
Each new hire appears with their progress. Leave a welcome note, add steps such as shadowing a tech, and sign off. Welcome, the first one-to-one and 30/60/90-day check-ins go on the calendar for you.
A new hire’s first weeks do not depend on someone remembering.
- 03
Org structure
A live chart of divisions, departments and teams with each person’s “reports to”. Drag units to reorganise, add teams, name who heads each, or start from a ready-made structure for your industry.
Approvals reach the right person.
- 04
Roles and permissions
Name a custom role on a member or manager base, untick anything it should not do, and give it to people — company-wide, or limited to one department or team.
People see and do what their job needs, and nothing more.
- 05
Time and time off
Professional and up
Review timesheets and time-off requests for your team, your department or the whole company, depending on your role. Each request shows who can cover and where absences overlap.
You approve time off knowing the work is covered.
- 06
Performance and goals
Goals that track a real number on their own, or that the person updates with a slider. The latest reviews, whose review is overdue or trending down, and how goals roll up.
Nobody finds out at review time that a goal slipped months ago.
- 07
Feedback
Give a teammate feedback or recognition from their profile — a star rating, a note and a badge. Client ratings from their jobs show up beside it.
Good work gets noticed and stays on the person’s record.
- 08
Knowledge
Guides, FAQs and process documents in one library, with files attached and who can see each. Training with quizzes. With Nova, ask a question and get an answer citing your own documents.
New starters find the answer without interrupting anyone.
- 09
Analytics
Pick a team, department or the whole company and a date range: headcount by department, workload, utilisation and who is on leave, with a team report on demand.
One screen shows where the team is stretched or has room.
On its own
What it doesbefore you ask.
It reminds, suggests and puts check-ins on the calendar; approving time off and changing a role or pay stay with a person.
- Finds cover when someone books time off (Professional and up)
- Nudges a one-to-one that has gone quiet
- Warns before someone is booked past their hours
- Suggests who takes a departing manager’s people
- Puts a new hire’s check-ins on the calendar
Joined to the rest
One record, both ways.
- HR and payroll
Services: hiring, records and benefits; approved hours feed the next pay run, which two people approve — pay runs calculate for Ontario, Canada today.
- Projects
Who is on each project, their part and their hours, from the same people records.
- Communication
Check-ins — and, on Professional and up, time off — land on the shared calendar; it shows who has room and who is overloaded.
- Field operations
A service: dispatch reads who is free and skilled; a tech whose licence date has passed is not assigned.
Where it stops
Said plainly.
- Time off and timesheets are on Professional and up.
- Hiring, employee records and benefits are the HR service; pay runs are the Payroll service and calculate for Ontario, Canada today.
- Goals are numbers or sliders; there is no OKR framework with scoring.
- Reviews are tracked; there are no 360-degree review cycles.
- Answers from your knowledge library come from Nova, a service with fifteen days free when you start.
Questions
Asked first.
Is time off included?
Time off and timesheets are on Professional and up ($129 per person a month). Requests show who can cover and where absences overlap, and cover is found for you.
Can I set what each person can see?
Yes. Build a custom role from a member or manager base, untick what it should not do, and give it company-wide or for one department or team.
Does it run payroll?
Payroll is a separate service: software your company runs — approved hours in, two approvals, a payment file for your bank. Pay runs calculate for Ontario, Canada today, and your company stays the filer.
Is there an OKR tool?
Not a full OKR framework. Goals track a real number on their own or with a slider, and roll up so you can see where they stand.
Is it in every plan?
Members, onboarding, the org chart, roles, goals, feedback, knowledge and analytics are in every plan (Essentials $79, Professional $129 per person a month, billed in US dollars). Time off and timesheets are on Professional and up.
