Projects with phases, budgets and a client view; change orders signed on site; progress invoices that hold back what is held back — for builders, remodellers and the trades they run.

The day today
Where the day goes wrong.
01
A holdback chased as if it were late — and a good client annoyed
Set a holdback on any invoice and release it later. It stays out of what you chase, and the client’s portal asks only for what is due now.
02
Extra work agreed on site, and never billed
Extra work agreed on site goes to the client as a change order, signed on the tech’s phone, and lands on the invoice.
03
Clients phoning for progress, and you off the tools to answer
Your client sees status, milestones and your team in their portal, so the progress call becomes a look.

Field operations
Six weeks on Operations Link
A floor a week,from brief to portal.
Six weeks at a builder, one step a week. Every step is something the platform does today.
- Week 1Monday’s brief: timesheets to approve, jobs due but not ready.
- Week 2Members shows who has room; time off is approved with the cover in view.
- Week 3A card moves across the Board; the project’s health shows how the next milestone is tracking.
- Week 4The client signs a change order for the extra work on the crew lead’s phone.
- Week 5You send the progress invoice with its holdback; only what is due now is chased.
- Week 6The client checks progress and milestones in their portal.
Change orders on the phone come with Field operations; the morning brief with Nova — services on Professional and Enterprise. Timesheets and time off are also on Professional and Enterprise; the rest is in every plan.
